If there is one consistent theme with legal marketing these days, it is this: law firms want to lose their stuffy, ultra-conservative image of the past and be seen as approachable, friendly, diverse and professional.
One sure-fire way for a lawyer to connect with their clients is to publish informative, engaging, practical content regularly on their website.

You would think as a professional legal copywriter who is constantly pushing the virtues of blogging, not only to my clients but my friends who own businesses as well, that I would be faultlessly consistent with my own blog.
Nope!
I am embarrassed to say that I have not updated my blog since last June. So my one and only new business goal for 2017 is to practice what I preach and get at least one blog out a week.
Why have I been so slack?
Well, I wouldn’t call it slack. Just like my law firm clients who ask me to write articles for their website, when I am busy writing legal articles and websites, in other words, doing my job, my own marketing efforts get put on the back burner. Also, I am already number one in Google for legal copywriter, legal copywriting and many other keyword searches so I do not need to rely on blogging for SEO.
