As a smaller business, without the authority that larger brands have developed online over the years, we took the opinion that if we wanted to launch a blog, then it would have to be extremely high quality and relevant to our audience.  With the help and guidance from Corinne and Paul at the Legal Copywriting Company, the process we eventually decided upon involved creating an evergreen resource. We chose a subject that we know our customers are dealing with daily. For the structure of the blog, we used a technique involving a central pillar page, with supporting pages to expand on key terms. There were two purposes for this method. Firstly it makes for easier reading, with the content being clearly laid out and easy to find. And the second benefit is that the search engines like detailed, well researched, and organised content. So ultimately, it should rank better on Google.  In the end, we developed a central page with 5-subpages containing just short of 26,000 words. The finished resource is a tool that our customers can use for research while simultaneously mapping out a significant part of the customer journey.

The level of effort, support, advice, legal know-how, research, writing, editing, and rewriting that both Corinne and Paul applied throughout was incredible.
